Living in a place that’s sunny 300 + days a year means that my ‘Summer Essentials’ are actually my everyday essentials. It also means that I’ve had a lot of time to perfect my list - so you’re in for a treat. No need to waste any time, as with most things, it’s best to just dive right in!
Yeti 30 oz Tumbler & Metal Straw
This cup saves me (and the Earth) all the dang time. This may be a no brainer, but summer is so stinkin’ hot, so a cup that keeps ice for over 24 hours is a God send + always having a cup around keeps me from buying single use water bottles which means we all live in a more beautiful and clean world! That’s what I call a win, win. I also always try to keep a metal straw on me, because let’s be real, everyone enjoys straws, but that doesn’t mean the sea turtles should have to suffer + a metal straw makes cold water all the more enjoyable.
Birkenstock Women’s Mules
I wear my Birkenstock Mules until the day I start wearing my boots. They look great on and their tough soles really protect my feet when I’m out roaming around. These are work and exploration shoes for me.

I adore this speaker. It is light weight, water resistant, great battery life, wonderful sound quality, fits in even my smallest bag, has a built in hook in the back and is under $35! Mine has traveled all over the world with me the past few years and it still looks brand new!
Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen Tinted Face Mineral Lotion
Admittedly, in my younger days, I was awful about wearing sunscreen. I had the smell and the way it felt and I was convinced I wouldn’t get any sun if I wore it. All that changed when I found this sunscreen. It is hypo-allergenic, oxybenzone free, phthalate free, dermatologist test, pediatrician tested, reef friendly, and is not tested on animals! But outside of all that, it smells great, is lightly tinted (like a BB cream), and it has never once caused me to break out! I apply the lotion every morning before I put on my makeup and then I carry the spray lotion around with me to freshen up the coverage throughout the day. The spray protection can be sprayed over top of my makeup and it doesn’t change the look at all! Woot, woot!

Morocco, like most intensely dry climates are absolutely brutal on your hair and I tried a ton of things to get mine healthy, until I came across this one. They recommend that you apply a small amount to damp hair after you washing, but that doesn’t work great for me. Instead, I drench my hair in the oil once every week or two and then wear it as a mask overnight as I sleep. The next day I shampoo my hair twice and am left with beautiful, moisturized hair that is full of volume and defined curls. I’ve been using the same bottle for about 6 months and still have half a bottle left.
