Agdz may just be a small, oasis, desert town, but it’s one of my favorite places in all of Morocco. It was my home for two years and taught me so much about myself and the world in general. While modern day Agdz isn’t full of monuments or impressive mosques, it is overflowing with Moroccan charm, hospitality and history. This is a place that is more fully appreciated when you read up on its history before visiting.

But there is so much more to this small city that movies and peace - like stunning handmade rugs, ancient palaces, and some of the world’s nicest people.
