Shop Small with these Nomad Owned Businesses!

If you have ever lived life a little differently than the norm, you have inevitably heard the question, “but how do you make money living that way?” It’s probably every nomads most asked question. And the reality is that the way people make money on the road varies as widely as the people themselves. As nomadic business owners ourselves, we wanted to showcase some of the amazing things our community is creating. This is by no means a comprehensive list, but it’s a start, and if you know of a nomadic business owner that wasn’t included in the list, please leave their information in the comment section and I will add them to the list!

So without further adieu, happy shopping!

All of our leather goods are designed by Brandi and handmade by a small team of artisans in Morocco. We run an ethical business and every person in our supply chain receives fair, living wages. Integrity is at the core of everything we do. All of our leather is full consumption leather, meaning the animal was not processed for its leather, instead, the leather is a by-product from other industries. Every bit of the animal was used to make various products and there is therefore 0 waste. Please note that because of its handmade nature with natural materials, each piece will vary slightly and the leather itself will have its own unique character and markings. These are not flaws or defects, simply scarring and natural character.

And if your home or office is in need of a glow up, we encourage you to email us and set up a virtual shopping experience. (This is one of Brandi’s most favorite things to do!) Throughout our time in Morocco, we developed a network of dozens of talented artisans throughout Morocco to bring you the best decor around, and at a price that won’t break the bank. We have artisans that specialize in hand knotted/woven rugs, metal/woodwork, ceramics and more! We would love to hop on a call with you and turn your dream space into a reality!

Custom spoon rings from Ryan of Seeking Discovery.

Ryan got into making custom spoon rings because he cares about using historical pieces, often over 100 years old, and giving them a new life as jewelry to be enjoyed for years to come! And because they are crafted from spoons, each piece is completely unique!

Most people buy sterling silver to melt it into a block, but this process allows Ryan to preserve history and create functional art. Anyone on your shopping list would enjoy one of these rings!

Outdoor apparel from Jordan & Ashley of Beyond wild.

Beyond Wild was created by two nomads who turned their journey into more than just travel—it became a way to live freely, without limits. Their apparel reflects that lifestyle, designed for those who feel at home under open skies and who find peace in the wilderness. Beyond the brand, they bring the nomadic and camping community together each year through Northwest Nomads, an event where fellow adventurers can connect, share stories, and celebrate the freedom of the road. Beyond Wild isn’t just about clothing—it’s about inspiring a life of exploration, belonging, and true connection to nature.

Tanya makes some of the cutest macramé and plush toys we have ever seen. If you have any littles on your list, you’ve got to check out her Etsy shop. And if you live nomadically, she even makes crochet plants that you won’t have to dump when you cross borders!

Handwoven Beaded Jewelry from Heidi of Brickhouse beadworks.

All of Heidi’s products are hand woven and slow-made with original designs. Most of her designs are inspired by various national parks and nature motifs. She also offers custom pieces, you simply have to reach out to her here.

Handcrafted Jewelry and accessories from Kae of Nomadic Novelties.

In her little bus home, Kae creates stunning hand-sculpted polymer clay jewelry and functional art pieces. She’s inspired by the beautiful PNW nature that they’re surrounded by, and the vintage items they’ve thrifted along the way. Her creations range from nature-inspired jewelry to jewelry replicas of vintage mushroom ceramic-ware, and forest animal lighter cases. Every piece is slow-made by hand, (no molds or cutters) with love sculpted in every edge and curve.
